I had a wonderful stay at the Hopeville Guesthouse in Barbados. The location is excellent—within walking distance to the BGI airport on a quiet street. The place offers a peaceful and relaxing environment. The apartment is neat, clean, warm and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. What made the experience even more special was the host’s hospitality—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She went out of her way to accommodate my son who joined me during mid-week of my stay. I would absolutely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Barbados and would definitely stay here on my next trip.

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, peace, and a true home-away-from-home experience. The location is convenient, not too far from the airport, and the space is fully furnished with all the modern amenities you’d need.

From the moment I arrived, the environment was exceptionally clean, and honestly, the pictures online don’t do it justice. The fresh scent and spotless interior made it feel welcoming right away. It was everything I hoped for and more.

The host was warm, responsive, and communicated well throughout my stay, which made the experience even smoother. This apartment also served as the perfect setting for a quiet, romantic getaway—peaceful, private, and filled with beautiful memories.

The lady was nice and very accommodating. The apartment was literally 2 minutes away from the airport. Rooms were clean and efficient. Would book again when I go back to Barbados! Thanks much??

My son Alan Donely stays there for two weeks and it was like he was home!!! it was beautiful clean professional! Mrs Heather And a taxi driver Mr. Chris take very very good care of my son like he was their family.. The location was perfect everything was right there. Hopeville Apartments is a BEAUTIFUL apartment!!! The rooms are impeccably clean and neat, the toilets SPARKLING. The whole apartment is wonderfully cozy and superb. It has all the amenities and equipment to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect, few minutes walking distance to the airport and amazing shops. The host is friendly, polite and incredibly helpful. Hopeville Apartments is indeed home away from home. HIGHLY recommended for everyone!

Disliked · There is nothing I can say that is negative about this property. This was my third stay at this location. The only negative thing I can say is that is it becoming so popular that I had to change my travel plans in order to get into the location as it is booking so quickly.

The location was superb and within easy reach of everything you could need. The apartment was fully furnished and with all mod cons. Complimentary fruit, juice and water in the apartment before we arrived was just the right touch. Heather, has always been in touch and easily reachable and if there was any issue thatc arise she was there to reassure us. We had a power cut for a few hours and she came over to investigate if it was local property or an area issue and it turned out it was something the power company has to deal with for the local area. The location also helped us engage with locals which you will not get when staying in a hotel where you become one of the herd. We got treated like royalty by staff and I loved it. Oh don’t forget free Wi-Fi, alarm clocks and Air conditioning in the rooms. I just love it all and I have found my second home in Barbados at Hopeville Apartments and will stay there everytime from now on (Guaranteed) because I have visited Barbados several times in the past and nothing compares to Hopeville Apartments. Honestly, if you discount this place when you come across it online then you are missing out big time. How it is not the most recommended accommodation on booking.com or TripAdvisor I don’t know. 5* service and cleanliness, location. Love it.

Hopeville Apartments are beautiful apartments. Very tastefully furnished, very clean and very fresh. Fully air conditioned and did I mention clean. ? We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. I met Miss Heather who is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. You couldn’t ask for a better host. There were enough linens for myself and my 4 kids. Would I stay here again? Most definitely…
